Mia has always had a natural passion for hair colour and a meticulous eye for detail, joining the Jo Hansford team in 2010 and quickly establishing herself as a highly valued member of the colour department.

She is particularly renowned for her expertise in tinting and beautifully tailored highlights, creating polished, sophisticated colour that enhances each client’s natural features and individual style.

Mia’s approach to tinting is highly considered. She carefully balances depth, tone and condition to create rich, luminous colour with a refined finish, whether refreshing an existing shade, enhancing natural colour or creating greater depth and dimension.

Her highlighting work is equally bespoke, with placement and tone carefully selected to complement the complexion, haircut and lifestyle of each client. The result is colour that feels natural, modern and effortlessly wearable.

Alongside her salon work, Mia has a strong passion for education. Her calm, approachable manner and clear communication style have led her to teach external courses and share her technical knowledge with others in the industry.

Mia’s exceptional eye for colour, creative flair and attention to detail ensure consistently beautiful results, while her warm and friendly personality has earned her an exceptionally loyal client following.

Mia is available in the salon Tuesday to Saturday.
