We have always been dedicated to providing first-class hair services, and this year we are taking that commitment even further. From continuing our pursuit of excellence in colour and styling to developing our sustainability approach and supporting charitable causes, there is much to look forward to.
Here is a closer look at our plans for making 2024 an exceptional year.
CELEBRATING THE JO HANSFORD TEAM
Our exceptional team is at the heart of everything we do. We have a long-standing tradition of celebrating colleagues who have been with us for 10, 15 and 25 years, and we look forward to continuing this in 2024.
Their dedication, expertise and passion have helped to shape Jo Hansford into the salon it is today.
Throughout the year, we will be sharing more of their stories and achievements so that clients can get to know the talented individuals who look after them.
GIVING BACK THROUGH CHARITABLE SUPPORT
We are proud of our charitable support. During 2023, this included the Macmillan Ball, Ella’s, White Lodge Centre, Heritage Charity, Healing Little Hearts, Teenage Cancer Trust, Trees for Cities, Pancreatic Cancer UK and several local schools.
Team members Michaela and Frankie also donated their time to support Tamzin Outhwaite’s charity, We Free Women.
In 2024, alongside this continued support, Joanna Hansford will take up a role as patron of The Brilliant Breakfast, an initiative that raises funds for The Prince’s Trust and helps disadvantaged women move into work, education or training.
We look forward to sharing further updates on our charitable partnerships and ways in which clients can help us to make a positive difference.
DEVELOPING OUR SUSTAINABILITY APPROACH
Sustainability is an important value at Jo Hansford, and in 2024 we are taking practical steps to reduce our environmental footprint.
We are proud to be working with the Green Salon Collective, an organisation that helps salons to reduce waste by repurposing materials such as hair and foils.
To conserve water, we have introduced Ecoheads at our backwash stations. This water-saving technology helps to reduce consumption without compromising the quality of the salon experience.
As part of our longer-term approach, we are also exploring opportunities to work with Net Zero Now to measure, reduce and compensate for carbon emissions.

One of the pleasures of a new year is planning for the months ahead. With our Mayfair salon and Knightsbridge salon located in the heart of London, we are ideally placed for many of the city’s most celebrated events.
Whether you are visiting the Chelsea Flower Show, spending a summer afternoon at Wimbledon or travelling to the countryside for the Glyndebourne Opera Festival, we recommend planning your salon appointments well in advance.
