Meet Jess - The Newest Talent on Our Colour Team
We are delighted to announce that our exceptionally talented assistant, Jess, has passed her final colour assessment and officially joined the Jo Hansford colour team.
We are extremely proud to welcome her into this exciting new chapter of her career, and we look forward to introducing clients to her skill, creativity and natural warmth in the salon.
Jess works at our Knightsbridge salon on Mondays and Thursdays, and at our Mayfair salon on Saturdays.

To celebrate Jess joining the colour team, we asked her about her personality, the inspiration behind her career, her favourite hair icon, her dream destination and the hair-care advice she recommends to every client.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Professional, hard-working and positive.
What inspired you to become a colourist?
There is genuinely no better feeling than seeing a client leave the salon feeling like a million dollars. I find enormous job satisfaction in helping other people feel confident and good about themselves.
Large hair transformations are by far my favourite service to carry out in the salon. I love seeing how carefully considered colour can completely refresh a person's appearance while still feeling natural and personal to them.
Who is your number-one hair icon?
My ultimate hair icon has to be Sydney Sweeney. I loved watching her in The White Lotus, and she always appears to be ahead of the curve when it comes to blonde shades.
At the moment, she is wearing a light suede blonde, which is the perfect summer alternative to the deeper suede-blonde shades that were popular during the winter months.
What is your dream destination?
Zanzibar is on my bucket list because it offers such an appealing combination of beautiful white-sand beaches and unforgettable safari adventures. It sounds like a dream destination.
WHAT IS YOUR TOP HAIR TIP?
My most important hair tip is to include a conditioning treatment as part of your salon service, particularly after colouring.
Maintaining the hair in a healthy condition is the key to achieving a hydrated, glossy and glass-like finish. I personally love the Kérastase Fusio-Dose treatment because it works instantly and delivers exceptionally effective results.
