As we approach the end of 2025, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our clients for your continued support throughout the year.
We began 2025 on an unforgettable high after receiving our Royal Warrant from Her Majesty The Queen, and it has set the tone for what has been another remarkable year for the Jo Hansford team-one we are incredibly proud of. Across our Mayfair and Harvey Nichols salons, we have welcomed and cared for over 25,000 clients this year… that is an extraordinary amount of hair, conversations, and transformations!
We celebrated our Royal Warrant achievement with a wonderful feature in HELLO! Magazine and collaborated with fellow Royal Warrant holder, Kent Brushes, to create a beautifully branded hairbrush.
With every high there can be the occasional low, and this year we made the difficult decision to step away from our Harvey Nichols location. Although this chapter has come to a close, we are genuinely excited
for what comes next. Our wonderful Knightsbridge team have moved across to our flagship Mayfair salon-the true heart of our brand, where our passion for beautiful hair, expert colour, and flawless service continues to grow stronger year after year. We are delighted to welcome them to our treasured home.
This year we were finalists again for the ‘Best Salon in London’ category at the London Lifestyle Awards 2025, and we always appreciate this wonderful recognition for the brand.

Our charitable efforts have continued to grow, and we are honoured to have supported a wide range of meaningful causes, including Macmillan, Groundwork, GOSH, The Hair and Beauty Charity, Marie Curie, White Lodge Centre, Heritage Charity, Save The Children, Healing Little Hearts, Teenage Cancer Trust, Trees for Cities, Pancreatic Cancer UK, and several local schools.
A special thank you to everyone who purchased tickets for our 12 Days of Christmas Charity Raffle in aid of Pancreatic Cancer, we are thrilled to share that together we raised over £1,000, making a real difference to a charity that is so close to our hearts.
As we look to the year ahead, we are excited to continue strengthening the values that matter most to us-supporting meaningful causes and further advancing our sustainability efforts. These commitments remain central to our business, and we look forward to driving them even further in 2026.

From a team perspective, it has been a wonderful year. Kirsty and Remee welcomed two beautiful new arrivals, Teddy and Arley, and we celebrated our fabulous assistant Jess qualifying as a Senior Colourist. We are also incredibly grateful to our education team - Taylor, Gemma, Michaela, Frankie and Jack - whose ongoing support and expertise continue to shape the future of our Jo Hansford trainees.
We have had a truly memorable year filled with inspiring events. One highlight was the L’Oréal Portfolio trip to The Carlton in Cannes, where we explored the challenges facing the hair industry, the future role of AI, and connected with inspirational salon owners from across the UK and Ireland - with a well-deserved glass or two of rosé along the way.
We also enjoyed the Wella RED Business Network event at the beautiful Kimpton Clocktower in Manchester- a weekend rich with motivational speakers and premium salon partners.
Our team experienced the excitement of the industry’s future at two prestigious awards ceremonies with both L’Oréal and Wella.
And, of course, we were thrilled to attend a host of exceptional events and openings throughout the year, including 45 Park Lane and The Rosewood Hotel.

Above all else, what truly matters to us is continuing to do what we love most-caring for our wonderful clients, supporting our brilliant team, and filling our salons with the fun, warmth and laughter that make Jo Hansford so special.
