DEREK

 Derek Morris sadly passed away on Friday 29th April 2022. He was an incredibly talented hairdresser and was loved by everyone who knew him. He is a huge personal loss to the Jo Hansford family as well as the industry and is always in our thoughts. May he rest in peace.

Derek joined the team in 1993 after 14 years on the session circuit. During this time he worked for a huge range of high profile newspapers and magazines and a host of major hair manufacturers around the world including L’Oreal, Wella, Head and Shoulders and Pantene. One of his most memorable experiences was working on the Pirelli calendar with the legendary Norman Parkinson.

He has also styled the hair for Iman, Catherine Zeta Jones, Yasmin le Bon, Lily Cole and Natasha McElhone. 

Derek’s philosophy was creating beautiful, healthy looking hair and making women radiate confidence with cutting and styling across all ages.
